Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") explain the rules for using Best Minecraft Servers and best-minecraft-servers.net ("Best Minecraft Servers," "we," "us," or "our").

By using the website, creating an account, submitting a server, voting, copying a server address, or using any related feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

1. About Best Minecraft Servers

Best Minecraft Servers is a Minecraft server list that helps users discover Minecraft servers, compare listings, copy server IP addresses, vote for servers, and allows server owners or authorized representatives to submit and manage listings.

Best Minecraft Servers is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, or any related entity. Minecraft and related names, marks, and assets belong to their respective owners.

2. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

Your continued use of Best Minecraft Servers after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the website.

3. Changes to the website

We may modify, suspend, restrict, replace, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. This includes server listings, voting, rankings, search, account tools, listing tools, banners, categories, moderation features, and other site functionality.

We may also remove, hide, edit, reject, deactivate, recategorize, or archive listings or content at our discretion, with or without notice, including if we believe something is inaccurate, inactive, misleading, low quality, unsafe, abusive, or otherwise not appropriate for the website.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You may use Best Minecraft Servers only if you can legally agree to these Terms.

If you are under 13 years old, you may not create an account, submit a listing, vote, or send personal information through the website without verifiable parental consent. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the website only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. If we use email-based login, magic links, or similar authentication, you are responsible for keeping your email account secure.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. We may suspend, restrict, or delete accounts that violate these Terms, manipulate votes, submit abusive listings, create security risk, or otherwise misuse the website.

5. Server listings

You may submit a server listing only if you own the server or have permission from the server owner or authorized operator.

When submitting or managing a listing, you agree that the information you provide is accurate, lawful, and not misleading. This includes the server name, IP address, hostname, port, Bedrock information, description, version, gamemode tags, banner, owner information, and other submitted details.

You may not submit a listing that:

  • you do not own or have permission to list;
  • impersonates another server, person, brand, creator, or organization;
  • uses misleading names, descriptions, tags, banners, player information, or links;
  • distributes or links to unauthorized copies of Minecraft, launchers, game files, or protected software;
  • uses copyrighted material, trademarks, logos, artwork, or media without permission;
  • falsely suggests association with Best Minecraft Servers, Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, or another party; or
  • creates legal, security, technical, or reputational risk for us.

Approval of a listing does not mean we endorse the server or guarantee that the listing will remain active.

6. Listing quality, tags, and activity

Best Minecraft Servers is intended to show useful, active, and relevant Minecraft server listings.

We may hide, deactivate, demote, remove, or require updates to listings that appear inactive, unreachable, duplicate, misleading, abandoned, spammy, low quality, incorrectly tagged, or no longer useful to visitors.

Gamemode tags and categories must accurately describe the server. We may edit, remove, or replace tags if we believe they are inaccurate or misleading.

We may use signals such as votes, player count, uptime, listing quality, moderation status, category relevance, recent activity, and other factors to decide how listings appear or whether they remain visible.

7. Banners and uploaded media

If you upload a banner, image, or other media, you represent that you have the right to use it and allow us to display it on Best Minecraft Servers.

Uploaded media may not contain deceptive UI, impersonation, hate content, harmful flashing patterns, unauthorized copyrighted material, or anything that violates these Terms.

Banners must not mislead users into thinking they are part of the website interface, official buttons, system messages, or Best Minecraft Servers branding.

We may resize, compress, crop, convert, reject, remove, or replace uploaded media for performance, formatting, moderation, security, or site-quality reasons.

8. User content license

You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to any rights owned by third parties.

By submitting a server listing, banner, description, tag, name, message, or other content to Best Minecraft Servers, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, format, modify for technical or presentation purposes, distribute, and use that content in connection with operating, improving, promoting, moderating, and protecting the website.

This license allows us to display your listing publicly, include it in search results and category pages, resize or convert banners, create previews, maintain backups, investigate abuse, preserve moderation records, and operate the website.

You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license.

9. Voting and rankings

Votes are intended to reflect real user interest in a listed server. You may not manipulate, automate, buy, sell, trade, inflate, or fraudulently generate votes.

Prohibited voting activity includes:

  • using bots, scripts, automation, or vote farms;
  • using proxies, VPNs, rotating IPs, or similar methods to evade vote limits;
  • submitting fake usernames or fake votes;
  • bypassing cooldowns, CAPTCHA, Turnstile, or anti-abuse systems;
  • coordinating artificial voting that does not reflect real users;
  • attacking or interfering with vote verification systems;
  • encouraging votes for one listing from users who were sent from a different server in a misleading way; or
  • otherwise attempting to manipulate rankings.

We may reject votes, reverse votes, reset vote counts, remove rankings, disable voting, deactivate listings, suspend accounts, or remove servers if we believe voting abuse has occurred.

We may act based on technical signals, patterns, logs, complaints, anti-abuse checks, or our reasonable judgment. We are not required to prove abuse to the standard of a court proceeding before taking moderation action.

10. Votifier and vote delivery

Server owners may be able to configure Votifier or similar vote-delivery features.

If you configure Votifier, you are responsible for providing accurate connection details, public keys, ports, and server settings. You are also responsible for ensuring that your server is authorized to receive vote data and that your use of vote data complies with applicable laws and your own privacy obligations.

We may disable or limit Votifier delivery for any server if it causes errors, abuse risk, security risk, excessive load, or other operational issues.

11. Third-party servers and external links

Best Minecraft Servers lists third-party Minecraft servers. We do not operate, control, moderate, or supervise those servers unless clearly stated otherwise.

When you join a listed server, copy an IP address, visit a server website, join a Discord, use a store, download a resource pack, interact with server staff, or communicate with other players, you are interacting with third parties at your own risk.

We are not responsible for third-party servers, websites, stores, Discord communities, downloads, plugins, rules, purchases, moderation decisions, chat activity, player behavior, security practices, privacy practices, or content.

Use caution before joining servers, sharing personal information, making purchases, downloading files, or interacting with third-party communities.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Best Minecraft Servers.

You may not:

  • break, disrupt, or interfere with the website;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, dashboards, databases, APIs, servers, or admin areas;
  • probe, scan, test, exploit, or attack the website without written permission;
  • bypass rate limits, cooldowns, Turnstile, CAPTCHA, access controls, or other protective systems;
  • use bots, scripts, scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction without written permission;
  • copy, reproduce, republish, or resell substantial parts of our listings, database, layout, or site content to create a competing service;
  • send spam, phishing, malware, malicious links, or abusive messages;
  • harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, or abuse others;
  • submit false reports or fraudulent claims;
  • upload or transmit viruses, malware, harmful code, or destructive files; or
  • use the website in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.

We may block IP addresses, limit requests, require verification, suspend accounts, remove listings, or take other action to protect the website and its users.

13. Moderation and enforcement

We may review listings, accounts, votes, banners, server data, reports, and other site activity for compliance with these Terms.

Enforcement actions may include warnings, editing listing fields, changing tags, disabling banners, hiding listings, deactivating servers, resetting votes, limiting account access, suspending accounts, deleting accounts, blocking traffic, or permanently banning servers or users.

We may take action with or without notice. We are not obligated to monitor all content or activity, and failure to act in one situation does not waive our right to act later.

14. Copyright and intellectual property complaints

If you believe content on Best Minecraft Servers infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, contact us with enough information for us to review the issue.

Please include:

  • a description of your rights;
  • your contact information; and
  • why you believe the content is unauthorized.

We may remove or restrict access to content that we believe infringes rights or creates legal risk.

15. Our intellectual property

Best Minecraft Servers, including our website design, layout, database structure, rankings, text, graphics, code, features, logos, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors, except for user-submitted content and third-party materials.

16. Privacy

17. No guarantee of availability or accuracy

We try to keep Best Minecraft Servers useful, accurate, and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be online, error-free, secure, complete, current, or accurate.

Server listings may contain inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or incomplete information. Player counts, vote counts, categories, versions, descriptions, banners, IP addresses, and other listing details may be delayed, incorrect, unavailable, or changed by server owners.

You are responsible for deciding whether to join, trust, purchase from, download from, or interact with any listed server.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

Best Minecraft Servers is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, and reliability.

We do not warrant that Best Minecraft Servers will meet your expectations, produce any specific result, increase server traffic, increase votes, improve rankings, generate revenue, deliver votes successfully, or be free from errors, interruptions, security incidents, or harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Best Minecraft Servers and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, rankings, traffic, votes, players, server reputation, or business opportunity.

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Best Minecraft Servers will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us, if any, during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

20. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Best Minecraft Servers and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

  • your use of the website;
  • your server listing;
  • your submitted content;
  • your voting activity;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of another person's rights;
  • your violation of law;
  • your server, website, store, Discord, downloads, plugins, or related services; or
  • any dispute between you and users, players, server owners, staff members, or third parties.

We may control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with that defense.

21. Termination

You may stop using Best Minecraft Servers at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, abused the service, manipulated votes, submitted harmful content, or used the website in a way that is not acceptable to us.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections about user content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and disputes.

22. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Best Minecraft Servers, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or Best Minecraft Servers must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction over the dispute and the website operator, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

23. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, invalid, or unlawful, the remaining parts will remain in effect. The unenforceable part will be interpreted as closely as possible to the original intent while remaining enforceable.

24. No waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing to be effective.
