Minecraft Survival Servers

Survival servers are for players who want something close to normal Minecraft singleplayer, but inside of a server with other players. On Minecraft survival servers you still mine, farm, gather resources, fight mobs, explore the world, build bases and try to survive, but each server has its own rules which can change how easy or hard it is to play on. The amount of PvP also depends on the specific server's rules as some keep it fully disabled, and others only allow it in certain areas or worlds. Certain survival servers keep the feel more like SMP with fewer custom features and more of a community survival focus. Other servers choose to stay close to regular vanilla Minecraft but still add some extra features such as land claiming, sethomes, crates, jobs, ranks, towns, shops, and in-game economies.
