Minecraft Economy Servers

Economy servers add a key component to Minecraft servers by adding an in-game economy. Normally on these servers players are able to earn money by creating automated farms, completing jobs such as mining, farming, lumberjack, and hunter, or opening a chest shop and selling their items. Players can then spend that money on buying land, trading with other players, or buying items off of the auction house. This makes the gamemode feel close to SMP, but with more of a focus on building wealth, running shops, and growing your balance over time.
