Minecraft SMP Servers

SMP servers, short for Survival Multiplayer are one of the most popular gamemodes where players play normal Minecraft survival on the same server together. On Minecraft SMP servers, players still have to mine, fight mobs, explore the world, farm, build, and survive but with a community of other players as well. Most SMP servers are not focused on PvP but still allow it in most cases in certain areas of the world, based on the server's rules. Normally servers with SMP are not very modded and like to stay close to normal vanilla Minecraft, but some do add quality of life features such as land claiming, trading, player teleportation, sethomes, and player based economies through chest shops or the server itself.
