Hardcore Vanilla SMP keeps things simple: real vanilla-style Survival, limited lives, and very few server-side changes getting in the way. When you first spawn, you get a few basic tools plus a short period of invisibility and regeneration inside a small PvP-disabled spawn area. After that, you're on your own in an 80,000 x 80,000 world. Death costs you a life and temporarily bans you; once your lives are gone, you're out for good. There are no ranks, no pay-to-win, and no /home, /tpa, or /rtp. Java and Bedrock players can play together.
