PvE servers are different from PvP servers because players fight the environment, such as mobs, bosses, and other survival dangers instead of fighting each other. Most PvE servers are anti grief and have features like land protection so players do not have to worry about being griefed while they build, explore, and are offline. To keep gameplay feeling new many servers also add custom mobs, dungeons, resource worlds, quests, and other co-op challenges.
